Same here. Even none of the phone numbers are working. Guess all the negative feedback drove it underground. I personally had no issues with it. In fact, the one time I had used Airlift, I got it on time.

Now, I guess I’ll have to board the Volvo itself. The fare would be Rs 240 from my place. :-O

Let me know if you get any info on any other shared cab service in Bangalore.

I think I read somewhere that Airlift has withdrawn its services. You may like to confirm that!
btw, I’m still looking for any shared cab facility but haven’t found anything yet.

However, I find that any of the hyperlinks you provide for Airlift do not work. Moreover, i tried just http://www.airliftonline.com and it doesn’t come up with the site either. Any ideas why?

hi priyanka to reach BIAL in early mornings it takes approx one hour so to reach before 8am minus 2.5 hrs => 5:30am so catch a BIAL bus between 5:30am to 5:45am for safer side keep a buffer of half an hour more or u can call me for a drop on above mentioned mob number. regards satish

Yes I have heard a lot of bad about Airlift and it seems people haven’t got the cab on time.
So be prepared with a backup plan. The VOLVO service does seem to go empty towards airport, something which you should keep as a backup.

I have booked airlift using credit card on their website. I have selected 6/6/2008 as pickup date and flight time as 9:55am, but the confirmation email came as 6/8/2008 7:55pm, not sure why it happened that way. I have called their call center and have spoken with atleast 6-8 different persons and everytime they ask 10 different questions and say that i will get email within 5min and its been 2 days and i still havent received anyting. I am keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully by tomorrow morning, they will come to pick me up. Its pretty bad and unfriendly customer serivice, if you intend to cancel you get only 50%, so basically you are stuck.

I flew into BIAL late on 24/5, so still on Day 1. Its a decent enough airport. I’d never been to HAL airport so I have no idea of how it compares. Apart from a bit of a delay getting a gate to unload at, things worked ok. Left on 31/5 and again things went ok except for the repeated queuing which I’m sure could be streamlined.

Glad that you found the post informative.
Regarding Airlift, I checked now and the site is opening with no issues. Probably the site was down for some time.
Also I have got bad feedback on Airlift, guess their service isnt upto the class.

Do have a backup plan if you are trying Airlift for the first time
And if you do use Airlift, please do come back here with your feedback.
