Copy Songs from iPod to PC
The other day when I connected my iPod to the PC, iTunes prompted me to upgrade the firmware. I had never done a firmware upgrade before and was not sure whether the process would affect the data or not.
To be on the safer side I wanted to backup the music and the podcasts I had on the device. However there is no straightforward way to copy songs from iPod to PC.
These are some of the tools I found to accomplish the above task

Moved to DreamHost
The domain (venukb.com) including the hosting was up for renewal this month. I had setup my site on 23rd of April previous year(2006) and it was then registered/hosted on Godaddy !
Godaddy economy hosting(around 3.5$/month) was a good plan to start
with; The hosting took care of the initial traffic pretty nicely. But as traffic to the site increased the site became slower and slower. On the top of this there were number of instances when the site was completely down.
Also the number of sites that Godaddy hosts on a server is very high. Whois.sc gives a good count of the number of sites sharing your server. My site shared

Foxit - Open PDF’s faster
I had heard and read about Foxit reader a number of times(including Digg) but unfortunately never tried it out.
A couple of days back I had to install a software on a freshly formatted system and the installation guide was in PDF format. I had 2 options to open/read the file.
Install Adobe Acrobat Reader Try out Foxit reader :)I opted for the second option and I am now regretting for not using this software earlier.
Opening PDF files is no longer a pain with Foxit reader. I had read that it loads the PDF documents very fast, but you have to try it out to believe how fast it is.
