as you know that opengl is not included in with the vista drivers, well there is now drivers on the acer web site, but when I try to use them, the catalyst control center install but the drivers fail, trying to find out about this problem has been a night mere, ati site is just as bad as they don't support the mobile section, most contact manufacture instead, how did you go with xp and the intel drivers for the wireless

Andrew,
I don't remember properly but when I installed the beta version, I guess I had no trouble with the X700 card. Don't remember exactly though.

ATI website doesnt seem to provide these driver, the are pointing to get it from the notebook vendors.

What is the nature of the problem with the X700 card. I am planning to upgrade to vista some time this month.

although I got this when they first come out, I have since aquired a copy of vista that I'm running on it, I did not get vista from acer, it's a retail version, I am finding problems with the drivers, this was installed before acer supplyed the drivers on their web site, my biggest problem now is with the ati radon x700 drivers as they will not update, I did a clean install not an upgrade
