Google Search does math too

I was talking to my brother the other day on phone and I had to quickly convert 4lbs to Kg’s. I was about to search in Google for a unit converter and he reminded me that I could do this easily in Google Search itself !

I just had to enter “4lbs in Kg“ in the Google search box and it returned this result

In fact Google’s calculator goes beyond basic arithmetic to do complex math and crunch physical constants, too. It will process queries such as “G * mass of earth.” or “speed of light * two.”

Next time before you press Windows Key + R + calc use Google if your web browser is already open
