RSS Feeds - Update

by venukb on October 27, 2006

As I mentioned in one of my earlier post, there was an update in the RSS feed URL of this blog.

Old Feed URL

http://feeds.feedburner.com/venukb/zrq

New Feed URL

http://feeds.feedburner.com/OnlineDiary

However my feedburner stats suggest that many are still using the old feed URL. Request those readers to please shift to the New Feed URL.

As you can see from the image, the old feed URL will soon be a toast ! So please update to the new RSS feed as soon as possible :)

Currently the RSS Feed is a partial feed and I am contemplating on shifting to full text feeds :)

How many of you guys prefer full text feeds ? Please vote using this poll or leave a comment :)

Haha Guess you have used the poll and also left a comment :) I guess your blog has full text feeds, how does it impact the ad revenues ? Or is there no change ? What about content theft ?

Yes, my blog as of now has full feeds. Having full or partial feeds doesn’t affect the revenues as regular readers don’t click ads. People who land from search engines only click ads. Content theft is a problem that I faced even when I was having partial feeds. So considering all these facts I switched to full feeds so that my readers could read my full posts from their favorite feed readers itself.

hmm… looks like no other people want full feeds. :(

My analytics suggests that 58 people have seen this post, more might have seen from the home page.

Either the zoho polls didnt load up or the guys are too lazy to vote :D
