Notebook from Google !

by venukb on May 12, 2006

Just a few days back Google in their official blog mentioned about their new upcoming products. One of the product was Google Notebook , which is going to be launched next week. It is supposed to be a personal browser tool that lets you clip text, images, and links from the pages you're searching, save clippings to an online notebook, and then share notebooks with others.

A Google employee named Erica Joy has posted a number of screen shots of Google Notebook, which will launch next week at google.com/notebook. (I am not sure whether it was intentionally done or was uploaded by mistake)

iPod Navigation using Speech !!!

by venukb on May 10, 2006

Apple is quite fond of filing for patents, especially those that surround its widely used iPods. But who can blame Apple for doing so? Any creative or unique idea could very well turn out to be a big revenue generator for Apple, considering that iPod and music sales make up a huge portion of Apple's income.

by venukb on May 4, 2006

So I started searching for a nice tool to ease this task. My Google search directed me to a browser called Flock

What is Flock?

Its a "free" web browser built using Firefox. Its being marketed as "The browser for you and your friends". Currently the developer preview is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. If

Blaine’s Next Stunt

by venukb on May 3, 2006

David Blaine wants to be the new Houdini, but he looked more like the boy in the bubble Monday. The performance artist lowered himself into a water-filled plastic sphere at Lincoln Center, which will be his home for the next week. He'll get oxygen and liquid nutrients through one tube and use another to rid himself of waste, which isn't exactly death-defying. David Blaine - Fearless But not to worry — Blaine promises he'll leave TV audiences breathless next Monday when his air source is cut off and he spends eight or nine minutes trying to escape 150 pounds of metal chains. The world record for breath-holding is ...
